Music Director
Chalmers Presbyterian Church, 200 Mountain Park Ave., Hamilton, Ont, L8V 1A2, is seeking a Music Director. Chalmers Presbyterian Church is faithfully growing and working together in Christ, serving God and our community and sharing in fellowship. We are looking for a Music Director who can:
- Play the piano and other instruments
- Lead choir practices
- Is enthusiastic about worshipping with Christian Contemporary
music and traditional hymns
- Has the ability to gather and encourage musicians together within
our community to participate in worship
- Has the ability to work with all ages.

Director of Family Ministries
Terms of Employment: Half Time
Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Start Date: September, 2010
Location: Erskine Presbyterian, North West Hamilton, ON
Description: Erskine created a five-year vision recently which included the following elements:
Faith Formation: to increase our efforts to foster faith in the congregation, and specifically with children and youth
Mission: to involve the congregation more directly in local and global mission.
Stewardship: to develop and execute a plan that will encourage the congregation to become more generous stewards of God’s gifts.
Among our objectives for family ministry are the following:
Youth will be able to develop a personal relationship with Christ
Children and youth will be engaged in ministry both within and outside the Church
Children and youth will increase their familiarity with and understanding of God`s word.
Families will be active participants in the whole church experience
Qualifications:
A solid personal faith in Jesus Christ.
Willing to commit to the Erskine Vision and Mission statements.
Previous experience working with children and youth in a Christian setting.
The ability to coach/guide families on living their faith in the world.
Education in Christian Studies.
Works well in a team environment.

Christian Education Director
St. John Presbyterian Church, Grimsby, ON, is offering a ten month contract for a Part-time position (20 hrs./wk.) commencing September 1, 2010 and concluding June 30, 2011.
Located in the centre of the Town of Grimsby is a church seeking your passion for the Gospel. The successful candidate has the skills and desire to minister to Children and Youth among our church family and to also reach out to families within our community. We are seeking an individual who can lead existing Children and Youth programs while our church is transitioning to new Pastoral leadership.
