Rappin' Up The Bible
September 2009. A local Presbyterian has just released a new Bible curriculum for childrenSteve Baldry, Director of Christian Education at Chedoke Church in Hamilton, has just released this exciting and affordable program resource that covers the whole Bible in 80 sessions. Using the medium of Rap the program gives kids a chronological overview of the Bible.
The complete package consists of a DVD, which provides engaging onscreen graphics and a sound track for the rap, and detailed printed curriculum resources for each session.
This is a program that it has been thoroughly road tested and has proven its appeal and effectiveness. Rappin' Up the Bible began as the teaching resource for Chedoke Church's highly successful "Kids Roc" program. The really exciting thing is that kids remember the "rap" years after they have been through the program.
