Local e-mail Address Changes

Poster: March 2011. Clients of Shaw (formerly Mountain Cable) who currently use e-mail addresses that end in @mountaincable.net will soon be switched over to Shaw e-mail servers and will be assigned a new e-mail address that will end in @shaw.ca. Since Shaw has many customers in the area this will probably impact at least a few people in your current e-mail address list. These address changes are being staged in over a period of time. Also, because the changes involve integration into an existing shaw e-mail service, many clients will be forced to choose new address prefixes. Consequently, there is no way of guessing what someone's new e-mail address will be. We simply alert you to this challenge that we and you will face in keeping our e-mail address files current in the coming months.
