We would like to include news and activities from your church too. But, you need to provide us with the material. Items received by Tues. morning will usually get posted by Friday. E-mail messages can often simply be cut and pasted - saving us tons of time and effort.
The Presbytery meets in Erskine Church
Following an annual pattern the September meeting of the Presbytery of Hamilton was held in the home church of the Moderator, the Rev. Dr. Ian McPhee.
This is also by custom a meeting which begins with a meal and the people of Erskine Church were a model of gracious Christian hospitality.
The Presbytery then moved into the sanctuary of Erskine Church for worship.
Following a time of praise led by Dawn Martens and Deborah Szabo and a meditation by Dr. McPhee the fellowship continued at the Lord's Table.
After worship the members of Presbytery returned to the Church Hall to participate in the business meeting.
The next regular meeting of the Presbytery will be in St. John's Church, Grimsby, on Tuesday, October 9th.
The Web Committee is looking forward to the October meeting when they will have an opportunity to make a fuller report to the Presbytery on the changes that have been made to the PresbyKirk site.
