We would like to include news and activities from your church too. But, you need to provide us with the material. Items received by Tues. morning will usually get posted by Friday. E-mail messages can often simply be cut and pasted - saving us tons of time and effort.

This is the crew that made the plans that lie behind this rejuvenation of PresbyKirk.
When adequately fueled with Tim Horton's coffee they are prepared to take on the world!
Unfortunately the team has suffered some loses.
Harry Bradley the creator of PresbyKirk and its Webmaster, or Webweaver as he preferred to be called, for over ten years has left our midst to begin serving as Minister of Knox Church in Agincourt. We will ever remain indebted to Harry for his leadership through these formative years and he has promised us free consulting services into the future via e-mail. We are looking into the ecclesiastical specifications for the bestowal of the title "Webmaster Emeritus."
Caroline Lockerbie, a long-time member of the Committee, has departed to become Minister of a congregation called Craigentinny St. Christopher's in Edinburgh, Scotland. Doesn't that sound quaint! Now we are blessed to have a Scottish correspondent.
The group pictured above has now been joined by Robert Williston who shares our interest in cultivating a Presbyterian presence on the Internet. Though our committee is small, our plans are ambitious.
We desire to serve the Presbytery through PresbyKirk - though we are all very conscious of our technical limitations. Please share your suggestions, comments, and constructive criticisms. We will listen and do what we can to implement them. Also, if you feel that we may be able to assist you with your congregational web concerns, please let us know. We welcome your communications. As your Acting Webmaster I am aware that there will be a whole host of corrections and adjustments that I will need to make before everything on this site is working smoothly. However, we will do our best to get things sorted out as quickly as we can.
I have enjoyed my role as Convener of the Web Committee of the Presbytery of Hamilton and I am honoured to be serving you now as your Acting Webmaster. Robert J.(Bob) Bernhardt.
PresbyKirk desires to promote a stronger sense of community within the Presbytery of Hamilton. We also desire to enhance the effectiveness of PresbyKirk for achieving this goal with those who are users of the Internet.
If your congregation is planning a concert, production, workshop or public presentation of some sort for which tickets are being sold, we offer the following proposal. Make two free tickets for your event available to us for distribution by a mechanism of our choosing to the users of our site. In return, PresbyKirk will provide you with some enhanced promotional exposure for your event.
We realize that this is a challenge. After all, PresbyKirk already offers free promotional space for any event being held within any congregation in the Presbytery. However, without creating a two tier world, we believe that the very process of offering the free tickets would result in additional exposure for your event.
However, quite aside from any promotional or financial advantage to your congregation, this gesture would advance the sense of kinship amongst our congregations. Also, giving PresbyKirk something extra to offer from time to time may help to persuade those who use the site to return more often.
We think that this is an experiment worth trying. To explore how this proposal might work for your event, contact us via e-mail and let us know what you are planning.
